Bishop's Hull Young Leaders are inviting you to join them to a community listening event. Look forward to seeing you there!
🗣️ You're Invited to Our Big Listen! 🗣️
Over the past few weeks, our Year 5 pupils have been working alongside Sandra Lawson from Citizens Somerset (part of Citizens UK) to explore what it means to be an active citizen, how communities can be improved, and how young people can be a force for positive change.
Inspired by issues that matter to them, our pupils have been thinking deeply about life in their local community. Their fantastic poster highlights some of the things they care about most, including litter, dog mess, recycling, safe and welcoming spaces, and looking after the environment. 🌍💚
Now it's time for them to hear from you!
📅 Friday 9th October
⏰ 2:30pm - 3:30pm
📍 Bishop's Hull Primary School
Our Year 5 pupils will be leading a Big Listen, giving members of our community the opportunity to share their experiences, concerns, ideas and hopes for the future. They want to hear what makes people feel glad, sad or mad about our local area and what changes could make a real difference.
Whether you're a parent, grandparent, neighbour or local resident, we'd love you to join us. Together, let's listen, share and help our young people develop their understanding of community leadership and social action.
💙 Come along, have your voice heard, and help inspire the next generation of changemakers.
