Blackdown Scouts We Are Blackdown. A proud Scouting District and part of Somerset County Scouts.⚜️⚜️ Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Everyone’s welcome here.

Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.

A special evening at Central Beavers! Nadia, our District Lead Volunteer, joined the group to present Dylan and Leo with their Chief Scout’s Bronze Awards. Congratulations to you both on this fantastic achievement! 🏅⭐️

Dylan, Leo and Henry then made the move up to Cubs and were invested. Welcome to Cubs, Henry, and best of luck to all three as you begin your next Scouting adventure! 💚⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️
