Christmas is fast approaching and our UFCS family (United Filipino Community in Somerset) is inviting all of you to join us in our Annual Christmas Party this coming 23rd of December. Its a night of fun, food and fantastic raffle draw for everyone to enjoy and partake. The theme for the night is, - That despite the hardships, the Filipinos has gone through the pandemic, we still shine bright. Lets make this event a night to remember and celebrate the festive season with joy in our hearts and togetherness as a community.

There is an essay competition for kids aging 5-10 yo who resides here in UK. I'm encouraging the parents of the kids to tap their children’s potential to allow them to be more creative and innovative and cultivate their ideas of being a Filipino kid and allowing them to join the essay writing competition. Win or lose the kid will have an experience and allow them to shine. I'm attaching the poster and link so whoever decide to have their kids participate in the essay writing event then they can apply through this link.
