🌳 This week we’re swapping four walls for fresh air and venturing outdoors! 🧭🗺️ Same crew, same energy, just a change of scenery - a chance to get out and make the most of the weather 🌞☀️

Did you know, ‘touching grass’ is actually a real thing 🌾 After 20 minutes outside measurably drops cortisol, your body’s main stress hormone - between 20-30 minutes gives you the steepest drop of all!

☀️ TOMORROW’S SESSION CANCELLED ☀️‼️

Due to the extreme heat and high temperatures forecast, tomorrow’s session (25th June) has been cancelled.

The safety and wellbeing of everyone attending comes first.

We’ll be back as normal next week.

☀️ Escape the sun for a few hours of art this week, where we’ll be sculpting using wire, clay and paint - shaping a frame, adding form and bringing it to life. No experience necessary!

🤯 Did you know.. The oldest sculpture we’ve ever found of a human and an animal together is a tiny clay figure made 12,000 years ago. Scientists studying it in 2025 worked out the artist was most likely female by analysing the ridges on a fingerprint pressed into the clay 👐

Create Chat Eat is back ✨ — and this week we’re doing drama! 🎭

We’ll be developing improvisation skills by exploring emotions and character responses through spontaneous scenes, quick thinking and emotional expression.
Did you know: Viola Spolin, often called the mother of modern improvisational theatre, created “theatre games” in 1930s Chicago to help immigrant children communicate, build confidence and make friends. Her ideas later helped inspire modern improv as we know it today. 🎭
