🇬🇧 Thank you to everyone that came out this morning! There was a great atmosphere in our village to see the Tour of Britain Men’s Cycle Race pass through!

It was lovely to see our local schools bringing their pupils along to experience the event!

We even got our parish council chairman to have a go at the cycling challenges!

🇬🇧 Today’s the day! Be in your spot by 11am this morning to see Lloyds Tour of Britain Men’s Cycle Race pass through! You can stand anywhere along the A153 from Gibbet Nook to Tattershall Market Place and along Lodge Road.
Let’s have a great atmosphere for them in Tattershall!

🚴🏼 Tattershall is Lloyd’s Race Ready now. Hoping to see loads of lovely supporters tomorrow between 11am and 11.20am- make sure to turn up a little bit earlier, so that you don’t miss anything! Plus there is a cycling challenge going on in the Market Place- starting around 10am with Personal Trainer David Holmes from DHPT Fitness - with a goodie bag for all participants! 😊

🚴‍♂️🎨 We've mapped all nine spectacular land art installations celebrating Stage Two of the British Cycling’s Lloyds Tour of Britain Men from Boston to Skegness, so you can look out for them on race day and catch up on the full collection afterwards.

• Boston Bikes at Irelands Farm Machinery, Boston, showcasing a schoolgirl's winning cycling design.

• Sir Joseph Banks on a bike at Revesby Estate, Mareham le Fen.

• Lancaster and Spitfires celebrating Lincolnshire's aviation heritage at Barnes Wallis Academy, Tattershall.

• Viking on a bike at Stourton Estates, between Baumber and Wragby.

• Seal, tractor and hare highlighting Lincolnshire's wildlife and farming heritage at Lift Utterby, Utterby Primary School, near Louth.

• Union Flag and bike featuring the Lincolnshire Wolds at The Old Barn Retreat, Alford.

• Tennyson's famous quote at the Jubilee Clock Tower, Skegness.

• The Jolly Fisherman at Arnold Palmer Putting Green, Skegness.

• Community sand drawing on Skegness beach which will take place after the race tomorrow.

🚴🏼 The local schools have been invited to bring some of their pupils out to see the race pass through! If you know of any children that will still be off school on Thursday bring them along to see the Tour of Britain pass through the area!
