The walkers enjoyed a circular walk from Chester to Eccleston and through the Dukes Drive back to Chester. The weather was mixed to start with but gradually the sun came out and highlighted the beautiful autumn colours, which were quite uplifting. We lunched at the Little Roo Dee cafe

October’s short walk started from The Oak Tree on a bright autumn morning, with a group of 13 walkers.

Before leaving Upton Grange, we came across a garden decorated with Halloween figures.

The walk took us through the Countess of Chester Country Park, along the towpath of the Shropshire Union Canal and into Mollington Grange.

Our return to The Oak Tree, where we enjoyed lunch, took us along part of the Poppy Walk.

Amazing how this group has grown from 6 people people around Mikes kitchen table to what it is today.
