Last night, the squirrels did a fantastic job of making butter! They did this by shaking cream inside of plastic bags, for quite a while! Well done squirrels 🐿️

You may or may not know, Tarleton Scout Group have entered the Tarleton Scarecrow Competition and the theme this year is ‘Musicals’. 🎶🎤
We’ve chosen to do the animated musical S N G I, sorry I mean G I N S, no I mean S I G N 😆 Still got it wrong 😂 - these 4 letters spelling weird stuff have had us giggling 🤭! Yes, it’s the musical SING. 🦔🐷🦍🐨🐘🐭🤩
The Scouts are doing great… 🏆

Happy St George’s Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.
Patron saint of Scouts.

A reminder that St George's Day Parade is this Sunday 26th April in Ormskirk.

Meet: St Anne’s School Field
Arrive: from 13:35
Step off: 13:50
Route: traditional route into town ending at Coronation Park, Ormskirk.

It is important that all the Scouts attend, if possible, and this is the only parade we do as a group. Full, smart uniform.

This evening squirrels have been visited by a guide dog called Bennett! Bennett came to show the squirrels what guide dogs do for people with visual impairments! The squirrels really enjoyed listening to Bennett’s owners talking about what he does and they especially liked stroking him. 🦮

Today’s activities:
Making pizzas for lunch out of the sourdough made last night. 🍕

Axe 🪓 training, well done Oliver for persevering and cutting through the large log (called Pete 😝)… and big shout out to Debbie for all the kindling she chopped… 🪵
