✨️ FREE Defibrillator Training Evening at Tarbert CC! ✨️

With the installation of our new Defibrillator we are offering a Community training evening for anyone who wishes to attend. Every second counts in an emergency, so please do come along to complete the training or refresh your skills.

A huge thank you to Cammy Morrison for giving up his own time to help run this event! Thank you also to North Western Electrical Services Ltd for the installation.

There is no need to book but feel free to comment, message or email so that we have an idea of numbers. ⬇️

Let young imaginations take flight this Summer with our enchanting Moth and Butterfly themed art workshops. Inspired by the delicate beauty of nature, these hands-on sessions invite children aged 5 – 12 to explore the natural world through music, movement games & making. This workshop is part of the fringe programme of the Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival.

Booking is essential.
Each workshop needs a minimum of 5 bookings to go ahead. If numbers are low, the workshops for age 5 – 8 and 9 – 12 may be merged.

Wear clothes you can move around comfortably in and bring your water bottle.

We can make tickets available free of charge for children who would benefit from Art Club, but for whom cost would be a barrier. Contact [email protected] for details.

Join us on Wednesday for a cuppa and connect with fellow change-makers who share a passion for creating a brighter future!
We have Western Isles Cancer Care Initiative, Harris Voluntary Service Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Children's Hearings Scotland showcasing their amazing work on our islands.
In addition we have Aosd' is Ùr Charity Shop, Leverburgh, Isle of Harris taking their wares on a road trip North to sell! Between proms & weddings coming up - there could be an outfit waiting for you or your children!

TRANSPORT SCOTLAND PUBLIC CONSULTATION 🛳

Transport Scotland are currently undertaking work to better understand how ferry and wider transport services support island and peninsula communities in the Outer Hebrides, Small Isles, Skye and Raasay. This will result in individual Community Needs Assessments, which will help inform future vessel/port investment and service decisions.

A public drop-in session will take place here on Tuesday 2 June, 16:00 – 19:00 and will give you the opportunity to see work to date on the mainland routes serving Harris and:

● Share first hand experiences of using ferry and other transport services;
● Highlight anything which has been missed; and
● Discuss what better connectivity would mean for your community.
