St Andrews Community Centre SCIO St Andrews Community Centre is on the Kirkwall to Deerness road close to the Quoyburray Inn in Toab. It is available for weddings, functions and clubs. M.

We are a local community centre for the parishes of Tankerness and Toab on the East Mainland of Orkney. Run by the St Andrews Community Association SCIO(SC037040) the hall is available for hire for wedding or other functions and is also host to several local run clubs such as the Mums and Toddlers group, Brownies and the hockey club amongst others. e always on the lookout for new members or simply just those who wish to help out in any way. The hall has been renovated to a high standard with a new extension added on boasting a brand new kitchen. To enquire about or make bookings for the hall please contact Norman Craigie on 861 791

Bowling and darts have now finished in the community centre till October but here are some things that will be happening in April.
Mon 6th SWI meeting at 7.30 for a talk on shellcraft from Kim Mitchell.
Youth club meets on 20th and 27th. This will be the last meetings till after summer.
Wednesdays - archers 🏹
Thursday evenings -Dancers.
Playgroup will be starting up again on Thursdays.
Fridays - post office 2-4pm
Friday 24th St Andrews football club are holding a bingo evening. Doors open 6.30pm, eyes down 7.30 pm 👀.
There are a couple of private bookings too but if you want to check availability for anything contact Norman or Dollina on 861791.

Pallet garden competition on 21st June. Here are the classes.
1. Pallet garden - can be lying flat or vertical. All plants etc must be on the pallet and you have to have a theme. Ideas can be found online and I will put some photos of the last ones on here at some point.
2. Pot of at least 3 herbs.
3. Pot planted with flowering plants.
4. Scarecrow.
You can take part individually, as a family, club or just a group of friends.
Children's entries in 3 & 4 will be judged separately.
Time to get sowing!
