TIME TO COLLECT SOME LEAVES 🍂🍁🍂 for our Hokey Cokey Club crafts...
Look at this fantastic leaf insect idea one of our Hokey Cokey Club mums shared with me...
I think our families will have lots of fun looking out for these leaf shapes and colours over the next couple of weeks.
Can you please bring them in to the Hokey Cokey Club, pressed & dried , ready to glue & stick onto card which I will bring in.

This week it’s definitely feeling more like Autumn and in our Kiddibops sessions on Wednesday at Leyfields Family Hub and Friday at Sacred Heart Church, Glascote we will be embracing the rain. We’ll be jumping in muddy puddles, singing songs about the rain, making our own rain music and hoping to see some rainbows. Incy Wincy Spider might just pop in and Peppa might join us in her boots.
We still have spaces in our classes at the moment, so do come and join us for lots of musical, rainy day fun.

Button batteries can badly hurt or kill a small child if they swallow one.
Follow our five top tips to keep children safe from button batteries:
⭐ Look around your home for button batteries. Think toys, lights, remote controls and more.
⭐Check for products with loose backs and button batteries that have dropped out.
⭐Store button batteries in a safe place, up high and out of your child’s reach.
⭐Dispose of used button batteries as soon as you can. They are still unsafe.
⭐ If you think your child may have swallowed a button battery, go straight to A&E or call an ambulance.

It’s a busy day for Rachel on Fridays at Sacred Heart Church. We’ll be singing and playing rhythm games with the babies with the parachute and around the big drum, working their coordination, motor skills and speech skills. Our babies love to sing.
In our Toddlers and Mixed Age classes we do lots of imaginative play, use our bodies and create our own music. Today we will be doing circle music games and practicing our sung responses and turn taking skills.
In our Newborn session we’ll be working on eye tracking and tummy time activities and a lovely mummy and baby dance.
In our SEND class today we will be playing with vehicles, moving them, counting them and hiding them…all to lovely songs and rhymes.
We have so much fun and learn so much in our musical play.

RECOGNISE ANY OF THESE MUSICAL BABIES? 😉
Most of them are running everywhere now & enjoying our toddler groups at Glascote or even at preschool.
So ....tomorrow our Musical Babies & toddlers 9.30 am group is now FULLY BOOKED
We do, however have availability for our birth to prewalkers session on Friday 20 September: 11 am or 1230, both last 1 hour and cost £5 /Free Pass.

HOKEY COKEY CLUB GLASCOTE...WATER & PAINT ALERT 😉😉
We had lots of fun last week, exploring the seaside tuff tray, I'll be sorting out a mini beast one for this week 🕷️
Meanwhile, be prepared for paints and water play if you come along to the Hokey Cokey Club this week...
We have plenty of carrots & potatoes which need scrubbing!! & Colourful new paints to get creative with.
The weather looks promising so we will be able to play outside as usual, hurray!
