Queen's Award for Voluntary Service Now in existence for over eleven years, Tamworth Area Medical Emergency (TAME) Community First Responders are an integral part of a co-ordinated approach to saving lives in the local community. It is our volunteer responders aim to buy time when seconds count after a 999 call is made.

In order to reach our aim and provide services in our community we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals and organisations just like you, we wouldn't be able to serve those in our community each year. We hope that you will be able to support us in some way; whether this is by assisting in producing or holding one of the many fundraising events we stage and in turn, experience first-hand the pride we take in supporting our cause.

Thanks to the generosity of this wonderful community of residents, businesses and councils, we now have 84 defibrillators in and around Tamworth ready to help in an cardiac emergency.
Did you know that 55 of those defibrillators have been deployed 159 times over the last 12 months!! That's shockingly amazing! Thank you all for your generosity and support.
