Today, members of the Dosthill Scout Group, along with fellow scouts, family, and friends, gathered to honor and bid a final farewell to Pauline Peace.

As Pauline arrived at the church, the sun broke through the clouds, signaling her presence and watchful gaze over us all.

Pauline was an integral part of our group and the broader scouting movement for many years, as well as a significant contributor to the local community through her involvement with the church and the children's society, among other organizations.

The service commenced with a full attendance, with individuals even standing outside the doors to pay their final respects. This demonstrated the profound affection people held for Pauline.

Pauline has undoubtedly left behind a legacy of cherished memories and a significant void to fill. On behalf of the Dosthill Scout Group, we extend our deepest condolences and thoughts to David and his family during this time.

We thank reverands mark and louise for a beautiful service for a truly remarkable woman.

Good evening, everyone.

It is with profound sadness that I inform you of the passing of our esteemed Beaver Leader and Assistant Group Scout Leader, Pauline, on Monday, January 12th, following a period of illness.

Many of you will have known Pauline as Rama, and you are undoubtedly aware of her exceptional contributions as a leader within our group.
I have had the distinct privilege of knowing Pauline for an extended period, initially through my own scouting journey as a Beaver, Cub, and Scout in Dosthill, and subsequently as a fellow Beaver Leader before transitioning to Cubs volunteering alongside her.
Pauline was a vibrant and engaging leader who consistently embraced new activities, even those that might have presented challenges during our camps. one of my fondest memories of this was when pauline went down the zip line on a not so distant cub camp. she was always up for a laugh and never disappointed.

Pauline recently received her Silver Wolf at a presentation evening held at her beaver colony in july, this is the highest award an adult volunteer can achieve, demonstrating her unwavering dedication and commitment to the scouting community. I couldn't think of anyone more deserving for this than Pauline.

We send out love and thaughts to all of her family and friends, She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Recently, members of Dosthill Scouts, alongside district and family members, gathered to commemorate Pauline's achievement of the Silver Wolf Award, the highest honor attainable.
Pauline's unwavering commitment and significant contributions to the Dosthill Scout group and the broader district throughout her tenure in scouting have made this recognition well-deserved.
