Our Community Café is a warm, welcoming space serving a range of breakfast and lunch items throughout the week.

Open 8am–3pm, Monday to Friday, it's the perfect spot to grab a bite, meet friends, or enjoy a quiet cuppa. Everyone's welcome and because all proceeds go back into Heart of Tamworth, every visit helps support our work across the community.

Looking for something refreshing on these warm summer days? Why not treat yourself to our delicious Ploughman's Lunch - the perfect light bite to enjoy in the sunshine 😋

☀️🌡️ A Quick Café reminder for This Week's Heatwave 🌡️☀️

With temperatures expected to remain very high this week, we have made a few temporary changes to help keep our staff, volunteers, and customers safe and comfortable.

🥪 Our café will be operating a limited menu 🔥 No hot food will be served after 11:00am
Cold drinks, cakes, salads, snacks, and other menu items will still be available throughout the day, subject to availability. (Please ask a member of our team for details)

We appreciate your understanding while we adapt to the weather conditions and help our wonderful volunteer team stay safe in the heat. 💚

Please remember to stay hydrated, seek shade where possible, and check in on friends, family, and neighbours who may be affected by the hot weather.

The Crisis and Resilience Fund is a government fund that helps people who are struggling with money or facing a sudden crisis in the short-term.
It replaces the Household Support Fund (HSF), which was also a government fund, which was withdrawn on 31 March 2026.

☀️ **Important Update Due to the Hot Weather** ☀️

With the temperatures rising, we want to make sure we are looking after our amazing staff and volunteers. From **11am, we will be serving cold food only** in the café to help keep everyone safe and comfortable.

Depending on how hot it becomes, we may need to close our café, Community Pantry, and Pre Loved Clothing Shop earlier than usual. The wellbeing of our staff and volunteers is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and support while we make these decisions.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and kindness. We really appreciate it. 💛
