Arts & Crafts can be beneficial for those living with dementia as they offer a range of cognitive, emotional, and social benefits.

Here are some of the ways they can help:

💚Cognitive Stimulation: Engaging in creative activities like painting or knitting can stimulate the brain, potentially improving memory and cognitive function.

💚Emotional Expression: Arts and crafts provide an outlet for self-expression, allowing individuals to communicate their thoughts and feelings, especially when verbal communication is difficult.

💚Social Interaction: Participating in group activities or crafting sessions fosters a sense of connection and belonging, which can be particularly beneficial for those experiencing feelings of isolation.

💚Sense of Accomplishment: Completing a creative project can be a source of immense pride and boost confidence, motivating individuals to participate in other activities and fostering a sense of independence and purpose.
