Well after a couple of weeks off because of pitch conditions we were back on with our Junior and Adults sessions last night. I have to say both sessions were awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions even though I had had a full workout after a few hours or coaching and reffing. We had our friends Midlands Barbarians Touch Rugby Club come and join in the too which was brilliant.
Going to keep our fingers crossed that the ground and pitch remains good for next week!

Great training session on Saturday, 33 peel was what we focused on and then spent the remaining time having some 3v3 games. We all took a turn to be the ref for a game which was very helpful.
We’ve played some great rugby over the last few months. Well done to every person who has come to a training session and has been involved in a game/tournament. Proud to be a BaaBaa 😎🤩 we are having a little summer break 👋
BUT keep your eyes peeled for more tournament announcements 👀

Did you all enjoy the weekend? We enjoyed our Saturday training session, joined by our pooch mascots woofing out their orders.
We had a gentle session after the very hot Friday so we made a start on learning the basics of subbing (correctly 😅) and we did a mini 3vs3 to start getting the hang of the subbing technique
Great session 👍🏻
If you are interested in coming along and joining our training session please don’t hesitate to contact us ☺️

🥵 🥵 💦 Last night was the last round of the Stafford mixed touch series. It was our toughest week as we were low on subs, it was extremely warm and we had some injuries. BUT we held our own and managed 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 loses. Some of our players tried playing in new positions and from that scored some fab tries 😁
AND we were awarded the fair play trophy which we are very proud of! Thank you for hosting Cannock 👌🏻☺️
We’ll see you next year 🤩

MBTRC had a fantastic time at . Thank you for hosting yet another great tournament. The weather was kind to us, and lots of brilliant touch rugby was played
So, I bet you’re all wondering how we did…. 🥁 we came 3rd out of 36 team 🙌🏻🥳🤩 and 1st as a mixed team.
We won all of our group games and made it through the semi finals of the Calthorpe Cup, where unfortunately we were defeated. Another little statistic, through the whole tournament we only conceded 2 tries 🙊
After the tournament we had a Baba’s BBQ to celebrate the day. 🍗
We are really proud of our performance in this years TMB tournament and we already can’t wait until next year
