🏸 BADMINTON 🏸 - WEDNESDAY 26th AUGUST 7pm-9pm. £2pp.

Due to an amazing response, the Edderton Hall Commitee would like to put on friendly Badminton sessions at the hall (obviously 🤣). There are some racquets & shuttlecocks, but feel free to bring your own. 🏸. If there is demand We would like to make this a weekly event. Thank you.

Edderton Community Hall SCIO are delighted to have received an award from SSE Powering Communities to Net Zero Resilience Fund. This funding will be used to install a generator at Edderton Community Hall for use during power outages, enabling us to provide heat, power, hot food and water to our community, and continued use of our community car, in the event of a power outage. Edderton Community Hall SCIO are working closely with Edderton Community Council to develop a comprehensive Community Resilience Plan for use in an emergency situation, in order to ensure our village and the surrounding area, and in particular those most vulnerable, are supported. Securing this funding is a significant step forward in delivering this.
The trustees would like to say a massive thank you to Ewen Simpson who has been leading on this project for the huge amount of work he's done to secure this funding. We look forward to providing further updates as the project progresses.

Thank you to all that attended our Beetle Drive tonight, making it a fabulous, fun evening. Coming along and supporting our events is appreciated by the hall commitee. There is a lot going on in the background, with essential maintenance being carried out. These events help us to be able to afford these repairs but more importantly, they join the community together. So thank you!!
