This week marks my final week in my role with Aspire Kids & Youth.

I cannot fully express how much I have loved working with the children and young people. It has been a true privilege to walk alongside them through both the highs and the lows, and to witness each young person grow and shine.

I am incredibly proud of Aspire and the safe, supportive space we have created together. There has been so much laughter, so many memories made, and countless moments of stepping outside comfort zones — moments I will always treasure.

I love them all — the chaos, the noise, and even the times my patience was tested. I wouldn’t change a single part of it. I believe deeply in every young person and in the people they are becoming.

I would also like to sincerely thank all the parents for trusting us to care for your children. Your continued support, kindness, and thoughtful gifts have meant more than you know — my heart is truly full.

While Aspire may continue for now in a volunteer capacity, my commitment to advocating for and supporting young people does not end here. In whatever capacity I can, I will continue to stand up for the needs of every young person.

An 8-week programme for men who want to better understand their kids’ maths learning at Key Stage 2.
Starts: Monday 20th October at 7:30pm
Venue: Carew Family Centre

What’s included:
• Food and refreshments provided
• Sessions led by an experienced P7 teacher
• 100% free of charge

The programme offers a relaxed, supportive environment where participants can gain practical skills to help their children build confidence and achievement in math's.

Here’s what one parent had to say:
“It allowed me to help my son with his maths and break down the sums. He’s doing a lot better and has gone up 45% in his maths!”

On Thursday our youth attended their first trip of summer scheme to Castlewood Tree Top Adventure in Antrim! 🌲Castlewood have 3 high ropes adventure courses of varying heights with balance bars, planks, 8 ziplines and Tarzan swings. Our youth took on the challenge, completing the course with a 55m zipline descent!

Our summer scheme kicked off on Tuesday with a mixed martial arts class for P4-P7! The children took part in a variety of challenges, games and MMA moves 🥊 🤼
Thank you to Savage Martial Arts for delivering this class which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
We are so excited to begin our summer scheme which will be filled with fun, laughter and awesome trips.
