💗 Spreading a little love this Valentine’s 💗

On Saturday 8th February at 10:30am, SheConnect will be visiting Hartford Care Home in Swindon to spend some time with the residents making simple Valentine’s decorations together.

It’s not about anything fancy — just sitting together, being creative, having a chat, and sharing a bit of warmth and company. The decorations will be used to brighten up the care home for Valentine’s Day, but it’s really the time spent together that matters most.

We’re looking for around five women to come along with us, so we can keep the visit relaxed and comfortable for the residents.

🌿 Thank you 🌿

Thank you to the lovely women who joined SheConnect’s very first walk today.
Even the fog and muddy paths couldn’t stop us from having a really good time.

What started as a simple idea turned into a warm, relaxed morning filled with fresh air, gentle conversation, and connection. It was a reminder that sometimes all we need is to show up, walk side by side, and share a moment together.

I’m so grateful to everyone who came along and helped make this first step so special.
Here’s to many more walks, chats, laughs, and connections to come 💛

We’ll meet for a gentle, relaxed walk around Lydiard Park, followed by optional coffee at the café.

No pressure, no awkwardness — just fresh air, friendly faces and a chance to connect.

Hi lovely ladies,

I’m Marta, and I started SheConnect because I know how hard it can be to feel connected in a new place or a new phase of life. I moved to England 12 years ago and struggled to find friends, and I realised I wasn’t alone — many women feel the same way.

SheConnect is a safe, welcoming space where women can meet, chat, laugh, and feel like they belong. We’ll have relaxed meetups, gentle walks, and light workshops — no pressure, no labels, just connection💛
