Croft All-Stars 0–3 Minchinhampton Rangers

The All-Stars’ cup journey comes to an end in the first round against Division One side Minchinhampton Rangers.

The scoreline perhaps doesn’t tell the full story, with Croft creating countless opportunities throughout the game. It was one of those days where the chances just wouldn’t go in, and against a strong, well-balanced Minchinhampton side, those missed opportunities proved costly.

The All-Stars had some really good moments against a team playing a division above and showed they were more than capable of competing at that level.

A deserved win for Minchinhampton, and we wish them well in the next round.

For the All-Stars, it’s heads up and focus back on the league. 💙❤️

MATCH REPORT ⚽

After falling behind in a tough, physical first half, a tactical change and renewed focus after the break sparked the turnaround.

Swindon foundation have been working with a community in Zambia for over 20 years. Looking to donate and offer support and aid in any way they possibly can. They provide valuable essentials and also join in with a kick about ☺️ ⚽️

As Croft is a local club ingrained in the community, we are always looking to volunteer and offer help in many aspects, we have done this for many years across many different situations.

The under 13’s Swindon Elite have 7 under 13 Croft Reds players playing for them; when the team realised the great cause of which Swindon are attributed to, they jumped at the chance to offer some extra support!

Donating their last season home and away shirts, which will be passed on to a Zambia community football team.

An amazing and great combination between Swindon foundation and Croft JFC to work together and support a great cause ❤️

Well, done Croft red under 13’s

Croft All-Stars U12 got their league campaign underway this morning with a narrow 2-1 defeat to an experienced Rodborough Lions side.

After a closely fought first half, which saw All-Stars have a goal ruled out for a tight offside, Rodborough struck twice after the break to take control.

All-Stars showed great character to fight back, with right-back Daniel scoring a cracking strike before Fred came agonisingly close to an equaliser with a towering header off the crossbar.

A tough result, but plenty of positives to take into next week.
