Yesterday was truly special, a real testament to how loved Rhiannon was, and still is. We said 10 years ago that Rhiannon would never be forgotten and that her legacy would live on, and that was proved yesterday.
Thank you to each and every single person who took the time out of their day to attend, to our coaches, Kelvin, Shane & Clair, to all the C6 girls and the OG’s - it means everything. Without you, the event would not have been what it was and I am so pleased to say we raised an amazing £1300, which will go such a long way for our chosen charity, Rhi’s Goals.
A special thank you must go to Rhiannon’s dad, Jason, who refereed the game for us. Rhiannon’s mum, Caroline, who kicked the game off for us and Rhiannon’s sister, Darcy, who ended the game scoring the winning penalty… in UGG boots 🤣 and not to forget our Nanny Ange, who came into our changing rooms prior to the game to help Clair give us our little pep talk after all these years. You are all amazing, and we can’t thank you enough for everything you did yesterday and across the last 10 years.
Please see below, some words from Rhiannon’s family, followed by some pictures from yesterday, and thank you again ❤️
We won’t leave it so long next time…
