Big shout out to Bert's Books for providing every one of our children with a book on World Book Day this week. If you’ve not ventured up to this little haven of loveliness in Old Town, please do. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and there is designated area for children’s books.
They also have a ‘Pay if Forward’ board where you can select a tag to support your visit, or ‘pay forward’ to support someone else with theirs.
(Fabulous coffee and cake too 👍🏻)

We are delighted to share with you that our sponsored read over the half term break has raised £831.20 for CALM - Swindon’s Cancer and Leukaemia Movement. We are so proud of our children.
Thank you to every single one of you who encouraged your child to read and to everyone who donated to this wonderful charity. The work they do is truly amazing.

The Friends of Colebrook Christmas Fayre is well underway! Come on down to see what’s on offer… Santa’s grotto is truly magical and there are many prizes to be won throughout the fayre.
Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this happen today to raise much needed funds for both schools.

This week, Year 1 arrived to find a very surprising visitor in our classroom... a penguin! Beside him was a small suitcase filled with an umbrella and a hat. The children were fascinated and used this to make thoughtful predictions about why the penguin might be here and what might have happened.
Next, we created “Found” posters to help our lost penguin. Then, to our delight, the penguin delivered a special gift: the book Lost and Found!
Today, the children sequenced the main events from the story and will soon be adding their own captions. It has been a wonderful, imaginative week of learning!

Today we held a non-uniform day in aid of Wiltshire Treehouse. We are delighted to announce that we raised £117.60 for this very worthy cause.
