The Southwest forum is a club networking forum that Sport Welfare Officers from across the Southwest region run to discuss the topic of welfare in sport. These are hosted quarterly and there is a Swindon and Wiltshire session monthly. The forum is used for additional training and information sharing around safeguarding and welfare topics, this time they are covering adult safeguarding with support from The Ann Craft trust. This is on line training and a useful addition to support your safeguarding and welfare work.

Anyone coming to the Swinson sports forum meeting tonight at 7pm at Moredon Sporting Hub please be aware that there is road closure through the industrial estate near the entrance. The road is open for access into and out of the Hub. Please leave yourself enough time to get here

Oasis Leisure Centre news
News just out this week that an exhibition event has been arranged for Tuesday 26th November at the Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology, North Star Avenue, Swindon, SN2 1DY, between 1pm and 7pm. This event will be open to the public.

The consultation closes on Wednesday 27th November so if you want to have your say the time is now.

SevenCapital is bringing forward proposals to refurbish and reopen Swindon Oasis as the heart of a wider mixed-use regeneration.

Just found out today that GLL are offering free activities in the Leisure centres in Swindon this weekend. This includes a free day pass which provides a day's free access for swimming, gym and fitness classes.
For information for what's on, take out a pass or book an activity, please visit the website below:

Better leisure centres, libraries, swimming pools, gyms, spas, pitches and other community spaces. Find you nearest centre and join the movement.
