Good fun at The Longevity Games this morning! 💪

Sadly, a change in medication meant I had to dial back on some of the exercises, but still managed to get involved and have a good time.

Always good to challenge yourself, even when you have to adapt things along the way! 🙌

I can’t think of a more important venue to Swindon’s alternative scene than The Rolleston.

For me, it was never just a venue. It was the people I met there who changed the course of my life. But without The Rolly/ Club bringing us together in the first place, so many of those friendships, experiences and memories simply wouldn’t have happened.

My life genuinely would not have travelled the path it did without this place.

The Rolleston has been part of Swindon’s alternative culture for generations, and I really hope we can secure a future for it that reflects just how important it is to the town and the people who have grown up around it.

Please get involved, show your support and help secure a better future for The Rolleston. ❤️

Today Swindon’s running clubs, gyms, workplaces and friendship groups are being challenged to take on something a bit different a 12-hour team endurance relay designed to keep the whole community moving.

I’ll be down at the inaugural The Longevity Games Relay at Moredon Sporting Hub today, volunteering and supporting throughout the day.

It’s a simple but brilliant idea: teams of 1–6 people sharing a baton and keeping it moving between 9am and 9pm on a 4.5-mile mixed terrain loop through Shaw Woods and the surrounding routes.

What makes events like this work isn’t just the running it’s the atmosphere. The encouragement, the teamwork, the people turning up just to cheer others on.

If you’re in Swindon this Saturday, come down to Moredon Sporting Hub, support the runners, and be part of what organisers hope will become one of the town’s key annual community events.
