Huge thanks to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue who very kindly visited the library last week during Toddler Storytime 🙂 🚒

The children were able to look at and sit in the fire engine and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! 👩‍🚒

Today we got to see a fire truck and even sit inside 🚒
The kids loved seeing all the different tools and hearing interesting stories from the fire fighters. Thanks Beechcroft Library for organising such a cool event and thank you to our local Fire and Rescue team for all you do for our community!

September's Lego theme of "Fantasy" inspired a lot of models from many people.

Well done to all, young and not-so-young (3 years upwards!), for your creativity.

Models included Super Jetski,
Flying Motor Bike, Lights Camera Action,
Space Factory, Sneaky Elephant, Starwars, Police Boats, Castle and Video Game.

Three models stood out from a strong field of contenders.

The runner ups were Fred (10y) with his remarkable "Map of the World" and Reuben (10y) with his excellent "Space Laboratory".

The winner was Betsy (7y) with her wonderful "Creepy Cave".
