Thank You to Marlborough College for hosting our first Aurora & Gems Exclusive Swim Session this week.

Having the pool to ourselves created a rare and meaningful space; calm, unhurried, and free from judgement where our community could move, stretch, and simply be in the water. For many who attended, the session offered a moment of peace and reconnection after what can often be a physically and emotionally demanding journey.

Participants shared how empowering it felt to enjoy the water without pressure or self‑consciousness. The privacy and tranquillity allowed people to reconnect with their bodies in a positive way, and several described leaving the session feeling lighter, more confident, and deeply supported. The coffee meet‑up afterwards in Marlborough continued that sense of togetherness, giving everyone time to talk, laugh, and build connections that matter.

Opportunities like this make a genuine difference to the wellbeing of those affected by breast cancer, and they are only possible thanks to the generosity of partners like . Your support helps us create moments that restore confidence, nurture resilience, and strengthen our community.

Aurora & Gems Exclusive Swim Session

We’re bringing Aurora and Gems together for a private lane‑swim session at Marlborough College Swimming Pool, a space just for us, where we can move, breathe, and enjoy the water without any pressure or worry about our beautiful bodies. It’s simply our community, in a calm and supportive environment.

Date: Wednesday 15 April 2026
Swim: 0945–1045
Coffee: Afterwards in Marlborough

It’s a gentle chance to reconnect, stretch out in the water, and then warm up together over coffee. We’d love to see you there.

AURORA GEMS

Just over 10 months ago we committed to extending the supported offered by Aurora to young/premenopausal women diagnosed with secondary breast cancer.

We recognised that the support for someone living with cancer is often different to the support needed during a primary breast cancer diagnosis.

Since then our original group of 12 ladies has increased to a community of 40 women. Aurora Gems offers support to this community and ensures that their wellbeing is at the heart of everything that we do. We want to ensure that they never feel alone and give them tools to help them find a way forward supported by others who understand what they are going through.

Here are some of our wonderful members on our most recent retreat in the Cotswolds; finding the glimmers of sunlight and holding on to those moments of joy when they arise.

So excited that next week we have the Gems Supper Club on Thursday 23 January.

Arrival time from 6.30 to have a warming drink in the garden with blankets (or inside if the weather isn’t good). Then the informal talk and food prepping and cooking will start at 7 to serve food at 7.45. This is where we can talk, chat, and relax together whilst nourishing the body.

Matt of very own personal instructor from the 31 Day Challenge will also be doing a talk on ‘Understanding the art of anchoring at times of stress’

Notes will be given to take home with the evening finishing around 9pm.

Bring tuppwares if anyone wants to take any spare food home with them!

All food will be organic. There will be a chicken option and then a second option that will vegan, dairy free and gluten free. If there are any other allergies outside these options please let Jen or I know asap.

Flashback to our recent retreat. Rosie Howell delivered a thought provoking session on taking the time to reflect on personal values, appreciation of every moment of life and tips on how to process our thoughts. Much like the notion that, we are the sky and the clouds passing are our thoughts. They come and they go. They do not define us. Our thoughts are not who we are. Amazing Rosie.x
