Fundraising Success! 🛒

were recently out and about in the community helping customers pack their shopping bags while raising funds for the Squadron.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, an amazing £348.60 was raised! 🤩

A huge thank you to the team at Asda Haydon, Swindon, for welcoming us.

Well done to all the cadets and staff who gave up their time to help out, a fantastic effort all round! 👏👏

Having successfully completed the necessary distances with the Dorset & Wiltshire Wing - Air Cadets Road Marching Team, he’s now earned this well-deserved recognition. Stick a crown on it! 👑

Tonight, Fg Off Chapman undertook one of his first official duties as OC 1244 Sqn, and had the privledge to promote Harry Harnett to the rank of Flight Sergeant.

Since joining the squadron 4.5 years ago, FS Harnett has jumped head first into every opportunity that the Air Cadets has to offer - particularly roadmarching!

A massive congratulations to FS Harnett on his promotion! We can’t wait to see you take your new role in your stride 👏🥳

Congratulations to the newly appointed Officer Commanding 1244 Squadron - Flying Officer John Chapman 🥳🎉🎊

John has been a member of RAFAC for over 10 years, with the last 18 months in post as Adjutant of 1244 Squadron.

He is excited to be taking on the role and is looking forward to working with the cadets, parents and staff to take the squadron forward on to great things! 🤩
