Dziś na warsztat bierzemy najnowszą aktualizację od Niviuk Paragliders, który zintegrował nową generację tkanin HYPERAIRTEX (opracowanych przez firmę Dominico) w swojej bieżącej ofercie. To coś więcej niż zwykła zmiana dostawcy; to strategiczna optymalizacja trwałości i długoterminowych osiągów.

🔍 Czym jest HYPERAIRTEX?

Dzięki zastosowaniu najnowocześniejszej technologii indukcji i powlekania, tkaniny te starzeją się znacznie wolniej. Choć waga i wytrzymałość mechaniczna pozostają prawie identyczne jak w poprzednich materiałach, kluczową różnicą jest kontrola przepuszczalności tkaniny oraz trwałość koloru. Twoje skrzydło nie tylko będzie latać lepiej przez dłuższy czas, ale też dłużej będzie wyglądać jak nowe.

🔄 Techniczna zamiana

Niviuk zastępuje dotychczasowe standardy branżowe tymi ulepszonymi wersjami:

HYPERAIRTEX-41: zastępuje dawny materiał DOKDO-30DMF (D30).

HYPERAIRTEX-36: zastępuje dawny materiał DOKDO-N20DMF (N20).

Harting Down: Kluczowy Briefing przed lotem 📋🇬🇧

Latanie na South Downs to czysta przyjemność, ale profesjonalizm wymaga znajomości zasad. Harting Down to wyjątkowa miejscówka zarządzana przez SkySurfing Club na mocy licencji National Trust. Zanim spakujesz szpej, pamiętaj o kilku krytycznych punktach:

⚠️Harting jest dostępny WYŁĄCZNIE dla członków klubu (strictly Members-Only). (No Reciprocals).

🎓 WYMAGANIA: Piloci PG/HG na poziomie CP + 10 godzin nalotu .

Charakterystyka terenu:

To stroma północna grań z trzema głównymi kotłami. Świetny punkt termiczny, choć w lekkie dni bywa pod wpływem bryzy morskiej. Przy kierunkach NNE można pokusić się o 8-kilometrowy przelot granią aż do Cocking!

Harting Down: Essential Pre-Flight Briefing 📋🇬🇧

Flying the South Downs is pure magic, but maintaining our access to these world-class ridges requires professional discipline. Harting Down is a premier site managed by the SkySurfing Club under a specific National Trust license. Before you pack your wing, ensure you are fully briefed on these critical requirements:

⚠️ Membership & Access
Harting is strictly Members-Only. There are no reciprocal agreements for this site. You must be a current member of the SkySurfing Club to launch or land here.

🎓 Pilot Requirements
To fly Harting Down, pilots must meet the following minimum criteria:

Rating: BHPA CP (Club Pilot) or higher.

Experience: Minimum 10 hours of post-CP flight time.

🏔️ Site Characteristics
Harting features a steep, North-facing ridge characterized by three distinct bowls. While it is an exceptional thermal generator, be aware that on light days, the site can be affected by the sea breeze.

Pro Tip: In NNE conditions, there is fantastic potential for an 8km ridge run all the way to Cocking!

Why Sharpenhoe Clappers is the "Tricky Queen" of the Chilterns. 👑

Whether you love the challenge or hate the "impossibly flat" launch, there’s no denying that Sharpenhoe is a legend in the UK paragliding scene. With site records pushing over 300km (shout out to Hugh Miller!), this small ridge delivers big results—if the day is right.

What you need to know for your next XC attempt:
✅ The "Silver Birch" Rule: Watch the birch tree to the right of launch; it’s a better wind indicator than the launch point itself.
✅ The Exit: Turn left, tuck into the trees, and find that thermal.
✅ Airspace: Remember, Luton CTA (Class D) is sitting right above you at 3,500ft AMSL. Watch your levels!
