Following the completion of our project at Gatuanyaga Primary School we were sent photos from the children who will use the classrooms ❤️ We weren’t expecting this beautiful touch from the school. We are so grateful to them and our friends at Moving Mountains for facilitating this project 💚

Our first project of 2026 is complete ✅ We sent funds to our friends at Moving Mountains to construct a double classroom at Gatuanyaga Primary School in Kenya. We are so happy with how it turned out ⭐️

Whilst in Kenya last year, our committee members went to visit this school and realised quickly that they needed a lot of help. The conditions in the classroom were very poor. It was an unsafe learning environment for the children.

Moving Mountains facilitated this project, using our funding to employ local workers and buy all the materials. Bringing employment to the local community is so important to us as a charity because it builds ownership and helps input into the economy of the area.

Our plan is to return to Gatuanyaga and build another double classroom later in the year. Thank you, as always, for your continued support ❤️

We are excited to share the ongoing progress of the new classroom project at Naromoru Gatuanyaga Comprehensive School. These walls will soon house the dreams and ambitions of our future leaders. We are moving steady and remain committed to providing a better learning environment for our students. 📚🇰🇪

We are very excited to announce that our first project of 2026 has begun! This is the 20th year of Granaghan Outreach so we want to make this an extra special year ⭐️

Our first project is to fund the construction of a double classroom at Gatuanyaga Primary School, Kenya 🇰🇪. Our committee members visited this school last year and knew that it needed a lot of support. In the video you can listen to Francis Kioni from Moving Mountains discussing how the work will be completed.

The current timber structure, which is now being demolished, is in really bad condition. The school is 7000 feet above sea level so the wind blowing through these classrooms is extremely cold in the winter.

Our plan is to complete these 2 classrooms now and then complete another project at this school later in the year.. as well as a few other things along the way!

To finish off 2025 we made a donation to our friends at Moving Mountains so that we could feed the children at their rescue centre in Embu, Kenya, for a whole week ❤️ Thanks, as always, for your support in 2025 ⭐️
