🙋‍♀️ WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🙋‍♂️

Behind every great Carnival is an amazing team of volunteers — and we're looking for ours! 💛

If you've got a few hours to spare and fancy being part of the magic that makes Carnival week happen, we'd absolutely love to have you on board.

Whether it's helping with setting up stalls, organising the arena, directing the parade, or just making sure everything runs smoothly on the day — every pair of hands makes a huge difference! 🙌

Carnival Day is Saturday, 18th July — but there's plenty to do in the lead-up too, so don't worry if you can only help on certain days.

🎶 We are THRILLED to welcome back the incredible D'Silver to the arena on Carnival Day, Saturday 18th July! 🎉🎸

If you've seen them before, you already know what a brilliant atmosphere they bring — and we cannot wait to have them back! 🙌

But we want the arena to be absolutely packed with talent this year, and that's where YOU come in! 🌟

Are you part of a community group, dance school, martial arts club, choir, youth theatre — or anything in between? We'd love to give you a spot in the arena to showcase what you do and share your skills and talents with the whole community!

This is a wonderful opportunity to perform in front of a live audience and celebrate everything that makes our community so special. 💛

🎶 Sunday 12th July : Proms on the Pitch 🎶

We kick off carnival week with a lovely afternoon of song, celebrating our local musical talents on the pitch at Roseland Road

💃🏻 Monday 13th July : Rock ‘n’ Roll
bingo 🕺🏻

An evening of Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo, fun for the whole family, hosted by DJ Dan at The Masons Arms - with prizes to be won.

🕵️‍♂️ Tuesday 14th July : Treasure Hunt 🕵️

Follow the clues around the village for the annual Treasure Hunt, from The Farmers. Will you win the trophy?

🐎 Wednesday 15th July : Horse Racing 🏇

Get your bets at the ready for an evening of virtual Horse Racing at Waunarlwydd Rugby Club.

🤔 Thursday 16th July : Carnival Quiz 🧐

Don’t forget your thinking caps for the Great Carnival Quiz, hosted by the one and only Mr Paul Schuneman.

A little reminder of what Waunarlwydd Carnival is all about. 💖

Last month we made our final cheque presentation to St John Ambulance Cymru West Glamorgan County from the money raised at Waunarlwydd Carnival 2025.

St John Ambulance Cymru provide first aid treatment, training and transport for communities in West Glamorgan - including at our carnival day.

Last year we were able to donate £5000 to some fantastic local charities and causes. None of this is possible without your support during carnival week and on the big day.

So a massive Thank You to you & hope we can see you this year for another fantastic week.

🎡✨ THE DATE IS SET - AND WE NEED YOU! ✨🎡

We are SO excited to be bringing Carnival back, and now we want to make it truly spectacular - but we can't do it without YOU and our amazing community! 🙌

We're on the lookout for stalls, floats, performers, entertainers, and everything in between to help make this a week to remember. Drop us a message if:

🎪 You'd love a stall at Carnival Day on Saturday, 18th July
🚂 You'd like to enter a float in the parade - or simply dress up and join the fun!
🎤 You have a community group or act and would love to perform in the arena on Carnival Day

Whether you're a local business, a community group, a performer, or just someone with a fabulous costume - we want to hear from you! Let's make this one for the books. 💛

Thanks to your generosity in supporting the Carnival, we have been able to present Wales Air Ambulance with a cheque for £1000 as we have done every year.
The Air Ambulance is entirely funded by donations, so your money makes a real difference.
We were lucky enough to meet some of the crew, who showed us the amazing equipment on board, and told us how they get to casualties to provide vital life-saving medical attention.

Next up, we are delighted to be able to support the fantastic work Matthew’s House does supporting vulnerable people in Swansea. From serving meals and dignity packs to providing shower and laundry facilities for those that need it. 💙
