This year's Summer Quiz will be at Pontarddulais Rugby Club on Wednesday 1st July at 7pm.

Doors will open at 6.30pm.

🌿 City Nature Challenge 2026: Swansea takes place from 24–27 April and everyone is welcome to take part!

This exciting global citizen science event brings communities together to discover and record wildlife across the whole city and county of Swansea — in gardens, parks, woodlands, nature reserves and even the sea.

You can join in:
✅ in your own time
✅ with friends or family
✅ as part of a group
✅ or by attending one of the many nature-spotting events, family‑friendly nature events, suitable for all ages and interests

All you need to record wildlife is the free iNaturalist app — no prior experience is needed. By taking part, you’ll learn more about local wildlife while helping build a better understanding of Swansea’s biodiversity and having fun!

If you’re looking for something to occupy the young ones today that isn’t going to cost money or depend on the weather, head over to the Mechanics Institute, 45 St Teilo Street, between 11am and 1.30pm for an egg hunt and crafty activities. If you’ve got an Easter bonnet to show off then bring it with you to be in with a chance to win a prize. The Easter Bunny left lots of yummy eggs so come over and find one!

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to combine the previously advertised two events so all activities will now be provided at The Mechanics Institute, 45 St. Teilo Street, SA4 8SY.

Join us for Springtime activities on Saturday 11th April 2026. We will be holding an egg hunt and crafty fun at the Mechanics Institute from 11am to 1.30pm, with an Easter Bonnet Parade taking place at 12pm. There will be prizes (book tokens) for the best 3 bonnets (£20/£15/£10) and entrants must be 16 or under and have made the bonnet themselves.

A lovely day was had by all at St. Teilo’s in St Fagans museum celebrating St. Teilo’s Day. Grateful thanks to John Gillibrand for taking the service and assisting us in resurrecting this tradition for the Town.
Looking forward to next year!

The Town Council are running a trip to St. Fagans Natural Museum of History on St. Teilo's Day (Monday 9th February 2026) for a celebratory service within St. Teilo's Church which now resides at the museum.
There will be a free coach leaving Pontarddulais at 9.30am, arriving at St. Fagans at around 10.30am for the service between 11am and 12pm. The coach will leave St. Fagans at 1.30pm, returning to Pontarddulais for around 2.30pm.
