Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot Scouts Glamorgan West Scouts - Providing everyday adventure across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot Offering everyday adventure across Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot.

There are 450,000 young people in Scouting, spread across five sections: Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and the Scout Network. Each section has its own balanced programme of activities, badges and awards. Beavers (6–8)
Cubs (8-10½)
Scouts (10½–14)
Explorer Scouts (14–18)

Igniting Skills & Building Community! 🪵🔥
What a fantastic Saturday! We gathered for a hands-on Practical Skills Day, where our experienced leaders passed down essential outdoor knowledge to the next generation of leaders.

From mastering the art of the perfect spark to preparing a meal over an open flame, it was a day filled with learning, laughter, and a bit of woodsmoke!

What we covered:
Fire Lighting: Mastering different methods to get a flame going in any condition.

Outdoor Cooking: Taking "camp food" to the next level over the embers.

Knots & Lashings: The "strings" that hold our adventures together.

Tool Workshop: Safe and effective use of knives, axes, and saws.
