Just to say a big thank you to everyone who came to Margam country park this weekend, for our annual exhibition of miniatures. We had so many amazing comments on our “Margam flower show” which was based on “Chelsea flower show”. It is so lovely to meet so many people and share our passion for creating miniature scenes.

The camera man is ready, the presenters are busy rehearsing, the refreshment stall is fully stocked and the pavilion is bursting with flower displays! The gardens remain “top secret” until judging takes place on Friday , who will be voted “best in show” ?….. only 3 days until all will be revealed. Please do come along to our annual Margam Park dolls house exhibition this weekend, pop by and say hi.

Only 3 weeks until our annual dolls house exhibition at Margam park , we are busy filling our Flower Show marquee with lots of displays. Also our members are getting their individual miniature gardens ready for the show.
We do hope that you can come and visit …. We’re looking forward to seeing you all.

Two years today, thanks to The national lottery community fund, we opened our new project “Miniature World Crafters (Neath Port Talbot)”. This has enabled us to grow our numbers by sharing our skills with others making sure these skills don’t die out. We have been able to buy equipment and supplies ensuring everyone was able to come and have a go at creating miniature scenes.
We have been able to have guest speakers and go on many trips, and also include other craft groups . This enabled us to get new ideas and try new crafts. Our numbers have consistently grown and moving forward we have managed to open a new group “Miniature world crafters (Penllergaer)”.
We are so thankful to the national lottery for giving us this chance to grow .

We really can’t believe we are celebrating 30 years since our club began. From humble beginnings meeting in one members house to having to change venues as our numbers increased. We’ve managed to continue when our numbers dropped and now thanks to The national lottery funding we are now a growing club once again.

Who Are We…

We are a local crafting group based in Briton Ferry, we started back in 2024 in a small room in Brynhyfryd House Briton Ferry where we had just a few people join and since then we’ve out grown our room and now we rent out a bigger space (room upstairs no lift), we do all types of crafts from miniature scenes, book folding, needle felting, rock painting, making items with fimo clay and many other crafts we also recycle items and use them to craft with, one of our members made a miniature scene out of a lenor bottle which was a laundry room, you could even smell the liquid from the bottle and it gave you the feeling like the laundry was drying in the tumble amazing.

When And Where Do We Meet…

We meet every Tuesday at Brynhyfryd House, 2 Giants Grave Rd, Briton Ferry, Neath-Port Talbot, SA11 2ND, we start at 1pm-3-30pm we charge a fee of £3 per session, we have a cuppa and piece of cake in a warm space while enjoying crafts. We welcome new members, when you arrive if you come right around into the big car park and head to the back door there is a sign to say please ring Gill or Jess with their numbers either one will then come and open the door, there is a buzzer but we aren’t able to use it so we ask that you ring us

Wow where has the year gone, Happy New Year to all our wonderful friends and followers far and wide… we can’t wait to get back into the swing of things and get back into our miniatures and crafting, we are always looking for new members who would be very welcomed any information please feel free to get in touch we will be happy to help and answer questions
