Skyline are already On Kilvey hill causing damage but it is not a completely closed deal and there is an important council meeting today at 5pm. Please join us at 4.30 outside the guildhall to protest.
TODAY 29 JAN - GUILDHALL 4:30pm (Skyline + Asset Management Plan vote)
Council meets at 5:00pm. The Council is due to decide a Key Decision: Asset Management Plan 2025–2029 - the framework for Council land and property for 2025/26 to 2029/30.
While Swansea Council sits on £800m of debt, they are about to vote on a budget that gambles £12.1m of public money (£4m WG + ~£8.1m Council) on the Skyline "White Elephant."
Why this matters for Skyline:
The Plan states that Skyline is progressing and that funding is secured. Approving this Plan gives the green light to continue moving projects forward.
