This evening we held our latest Pass Out Parade.

This is for the cadets who joined us in our latest intake and have successfully completed their first class classification.

It marks the first milestone in their cadet career, they have been dismissed from training flight and have joined their fellow cadets in their respective flights.

We had so much fun welcoming potential new cadets in last week for our intake night! We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did and look forward to welcoming you all back to join us 🤞

This intake will remain open until Tuesday 24th March 2026, after this our next intake will be in September 2026.

What an incredible day yesterday at 1 AEF!

Not only did we get 6 of our cadets flying, 2 of which were first time fliers.

But we also got to see a Royal Navy Wildcat buzzing about the airfield, truly a brilliant day!

What an incredible day!

We joined the rest of No 3 Welsh Wing, in Swansea, for a parade and church service to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Air Training Corps.

A spectacular sight seeing 200 cadets and staff come together to pull off a fantastic parade.

Our new squadron banner, along with the new Wing Banner, were blessed during the service, as well as all our cadets renewing their cadet promise.

Incredibly proud of each and every member of 3 Welsh Wing for turning out in force today and making this a day to remember!

This weekend our cadets took part in a number of Remembrance events.

We began with the Festival of Remembrance at the Brangwyn Hall – a fantastic and moving evening supported by talented artists, bands and choirs.

This was followed by a very wet but always poignant service at the Cenotaph this morning, where our cadets proudly represented the squadron despite the weather.

Our final event of the weekend was the church service at Swansea Minster, where our cadets assisted with the collection and took part in a meaningful act of remembrance.

Overall, it was another incredibly busy Remembrance weekend, but one that remains so important in reminding us of those who gave their lives for our future.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them. 🌺

What a climb! 🧗‍♂️💪

Our cadets had an amazing session at The Climbing Hangar Swansea tonight — testing their strength, teamwork, and determination on the walls!

Plenty of personal bests, encouragement, and smiles all round 👏

A huge thank you to the staff at for guiding us through a fun and challenging session.

🚔 An Action-Packed Evening with Armed Response Police! 💥

Last night, our cadets had the incredible opportunity to meet officers from the Armed Response Unit, who gave an insight into their vital role in keeping our communities safe.

Cadets learned about the specialist training, equipment, and teamwork involved in armed policing — and even got to see some of the kit up close! 👮‍♂️

A huge thank you to the officers who took the time to visit and share their experiences — it was an inspiring and memorable evening for everyone involved. 🙌
