Swansea Freegle is a non profit organisation designed to help communities recycle and reuse. This will significantly reduce waste and prevent good reusable things from entering the landfill waste stream by giving things a new life with another member. The Freegle ethos is “Dont throw it away, just give it away” - “it isn't waste until its thrown away”.
Why buy new ? you can request something someone may have just collecting dust and no longer use, or just take a look, there could be something that someone else is giving away and its just looking for a new home. This saves money you may not have, plus it also helps with the carbon footprint from the making of new materials etc all over the world.
In view of the worlds extreme global weather changes now effecting our plant and “The Blue Planet” documentaries by Sir David Attenborough, identifying how our plastic waste pollutes the seas and kills its wildlife - No one can argue that we need to act on this today. Every person on the planet needs to help reduce their impact on Global Warming for both the Protection of the planet and our future. Start here today, help Recycle, Reuse and Up-cycle.
