Thank you to Swansea Council for Voluntary Service for putting on another great annual members event this year. A fantastic day filled with great discussions, information sharing and connecting with other local third sector organisations. Thoroughly enjoyed the day ⭐️

The Shed is a self led creative space for you to use and do what you choose. As well as providing equipment and materials for woodworking, spooncarving, pottery, linocut printing, jewellery making, macrame, lock picking and basic tech support, we encourage you to bring in your own projects and interests to work on. This is where conversations start, connections are formed, passions are shared, opportunities are created and skills are learned, all just by coming along and being yourself! This month we've seen marbling, botanical monoprinting, sketching, plant shares, and today's sunshine was perfect for introducing members to cyanotype ☀️
We're open to all adults, every Wednesday from 11:30, no set fee (donate what you can afford), so why not come along and enjoy the Community Shed!

The benefits of our Shed don't stop when the sessions end, the sparks of connection, creativity and magic carry on in people's lives outside and in our community in many ways.

2yrs ago, at our very first Shed session, we built a bird box from pallet wood. The new tenants have moved in this Spring! Baby blue t**s 💙

Join Happy Headwork Community C.I.C. for HEAD OUTDOORS – a FREE* 5-week programme exploring how nature can support emotional resilience, self-compassion, and positive change.

Each week includes gentle nature and arts-based activities and practical psychology for wellbeing – all rooted in compassion, connection, and community.
