🌊 We’re Hiring: Adaptive Surf Instructor 🌊

£13/hour | Part-time

At Surfability UK CIC, we believe surfing should be accessible to everyone. We’re looking for an Adaptive Surf Instructor to help deliver safe, inclusive surf sessions for people with additional needs and disabilities.

This role is about more than coaching, it’s about building confidence, connection, and positive experiences in the water.

Essential:
• ISA Level 1 Surf Coach
• Beach Lifeguard qualification
• Willingness to undertake Adaptive Surf Coach training (provided)
• Strong communication & teamwork

Desirable:
• Experience working with additional needs
• ISA Level 2 / SUP / BSL

📅 Flexible hours (more during summer months)

🔒 An enhanced DBS check will be carried out for the successful applicant

Ash has been part of the Surfability community for years.

What started as trying something new has grown into confidence, friendships, and a real sense of belonging in the ocean.

This year, Ash’s surfing journey is being supported by Bentley, helping him take part in regular sessions and continue doing what he loves.

Partnerships like this help make adaptive surfing more accessible and ensure more people can experience the freedom of the ocean.
