Cawsom sesiwn wych y mis hwn gyda Chlwb Camera Lles Cymunedol yn Y Storfa yn paratoi ar gyfer arddangosfa a chynhadledd ym mis Tachwedd. Aeth y grŵp hefyd i weld arddangosfa a adrodd straeon pobl. Roedd hi'n sesiwn wych!

Community Lives Camera Club had a great session this month at Y Storfa preparing for an exhibition and conference in November.
The group also got to see the exhibition which told people's stories.
It was a great session!

Thank you to St John Ambulance Cymru for an excellent First Aid Awareness Course this week. The feedback was great and the group are looking forward to the next session!

We are greatly looking forward to taking part in this year's Learning Disability Wales conference in Swansea supporting the Digital Lives conversation with other organisations.

Our Camera Club have been working hard all year enhancing skills and the group are looking forward to sharing their successes with you in workshops on the 11th November! 😊

Mae ein Clwb Camera wedi bod yn gweithio'n galed drwy'r flwyddyn i wella sgiliau ac mae'r grŵp yn edrych ymlaen at rannu eu llwyddiannau gyda chi ar 11eg Tachwedd! 😊

With just 5 weeks to go until our first Digital Lives Annual Conference, we wanted to share our exciting list of speakers and workshops!

They will be challenging, considering and celebrating the opportunities technology can offer for people with a learning disability.

So, our amazing Digital Lives speakers and workshops are:

CC4LD will be speaking about 'Get Checked Out' - a website with accessible health information for people with a learning disability.

Cwmpas will be sharing what people need to be part of a digital world and why inclusion is so important.

Llwybrau Llesiant will be talking about the 'ConnectMi' app and how it has helped people with a learning disability in Gwynedd access activities in their area.

Cardiff University and Innovate Trust will be exploring how smart technologies can support wellbeing, independence and safety (with a chance for attendees to try out some smart tech!)

AbilityNet will be speaking about how they help adults feel digitally included through accessible technology.

ARC England will be talking about the importance of stay safe on the internet.

The Community Lives Consortium Camera Club will be teaching attendees how to take great photos (South Wales only)

The University of Manchester will be talking about what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is and how it can help people with a learning disability in their everyday lives (North Wales only).

Here2There will be showing attendees their 'AboutMi' app - a secure, personalised digital communication passport co-produced with people with a learning disability. (North Wales only)

It's been another exciting, fun and creative week for Community Lives! Both staff and the individuals we support have enjoyed some fantastic experiences.

From singing at events and testing our knowledge at Locality 4's quiz, to getting creative at Clwb Croeso and the Caewern Coffee Morning, it's been a week full of opportunities, achievements and smiles. Not to mention all the personal accomplishments people have made along the way!

What a pleasure it was for the Better Together Choir to be invited to the FCHA / First Choice Housing Association AGM yesterday!
FCHA has supported the choir from its very beginnings, helping us to start and grow, so it was wonderful to show them just how much of a difference their support has made.
Everyone in the choir loved performing, and we all had great fun afterwards, enjoying the photobooth, magician, caricaturist, and delicious buffet.
Thank you for having us! 😊
