Roedd pawb yn y Neuadd Les yn drist tu hwnt o glywed am farwolaeth Eira Evans yn ddiweddar.

Roedd Eira yn wraig annwyl i Evan Evans (Ieu) ac yn fam gariadus i Kay a Gary, ac roedd ganddi gysylltiad cryf â'r Neuadd Les.

Pan ffurfiwyd y pwyllgor newydd i symud y Neuadd Les yn ei blaen fel elusen, roedd Ieu a Gary yn aelodau allweddol ohono, ond roedd Eira yno gyda ni bob cam o'r ffordd, yn gweithio'n galed y tu ôl i'r llenni. Gwnaeth gymaint o waith tawel a phwyllog a helpodd i achub y Neuadd ar adeg anodd.

Ar ran pawb ohonom, estynnwn ein cydymdeimlad dwysaf i Ieu, Kay, Gary a'r teulu i gyd ar adeg mor anodd.

Gorffwys mewn hedd, Eira.

Everyone at the Welfare was deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of Eira Evans.

Eira was the beloved wife of Evan Evans (Ieu) and loving mother to Kay and Gary and had a strong connection with the Welfare.

When the new committee was formed to take the Welfare forward as a charity, Ieu and Gary were key members of it, but Eira was there with us every step of the way, working hard behind the scenes. She did so much quiet, calm work that helped to save the Hall at a difficult moment.

From all of us, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Ieu, Kay, Gary and all the Evans family at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Eira.

The Trustees of Abercrave Miners Welfare Hall have been working on a 10-year plan for the hall's future.

We are preparing funding applications to the National Lottery and other grant bodies. To support these applications, we need feedback and input from local residents to show clear community need and priorities.

Please read the plan and share your feedback here:

Mae Ymddiriedolwyr Neuadd Les Glowyr Abercraf wedi bod yn gweithio ar gynllun 10 mlynedd ar gyfer dyfodol y neuadd.

Rydym yn paratoi ceisiadau am gyllid i'r Loteri Genedlaethol ac i gyrff grant eraill. I gefnogi'r ceisiadau hyn, mae angen adborth a mewnbwn trigolion lleol arnom i ddangos anghenion a blaenoriaethau'r gymuned yn glir.

Darllenwch y cynllun a rhannwch eich adborth yma:
