Am noson ardderchog ym Mynydd y Garreg Hall neithiwr! What an amazing evening at the hall and a fantastic turnout! Lots of fun for all and we now have some new members - result! Diolch yn fawr i Rhidian Griffiths a Nicola am y cwis. Many thanks to Chris Wyn Edwards and Eun Suk for film & kids activities, to Becs Mackie for tasty quiches, and to the many others who set up, tidied away, baked, ran raffle, washed up, and ran the bar, and to all who came along for the event.

During our recent trip to our twin town of St Jacut de la mer, we visited this beautiful restored tidal mill. It got us thinking about the mills here in Cydweli also presumably powered by the tide.

Tocynnau ar gael nawr! Tickets for our Quiz & Quiche Night at 7pm on 3rd July are now available at Time For Tea The Old Moathouse Ltd Mynydd y Garreg Hall We only have space for 100 so snap them up quick as our last event sold out fast!
Eve begins with free info session on the twinning at 6.30pm - this is open to everybody and we'd especially like to see young families come along. There'll be activities for children.

Wel am noswaith ardderchog neithiwr! Fantastic evening and turn out last night for our event! Thanks so much to wonderful band PeriLynn&Mart for stepping up to the mark when sadly Pwdin Reis couldn't make it. Great to see Tumble Lindy Hop Jive/Carmarthenshire Lindy Hoppers out in force too. Thanks to all our members for their wonderful help throughout and to Time For Tea and The Old Moathouse Ltd and Mynydd y Garreg Hall for promoting and supporting the event.

Newyddion ynglŷn â'r digwyddiad heno. News re our event in Mynydd y Garreg Hall tonight. We are very much looking forward to seeing you there and delicious cawl, puds and cake is being prepared for you. Unfortunately the lead for Pwdin Reis band had to be admitted to hospital yesterday and so regretfully they can't perform. However another band has kindly stepped into the breach so thank you to "PeriLynn&Mart" https://www.facebook.com/share/18DyLHFqMA/ . As this is not the original band we planned, we are no longer eligible for the grant we successfully applied for to help fund this so we do hope you still want to come as we still need to cover our costs, pay new band etc ... and it will be a fab evening! However if you bought a ticket and really really don't want to come due to band change, please send us a private message stating your ticket number and we will arrange a refund. Jazz duo: vocals and sax/clarinet. Peri and Martin are both well known on the Swansea/Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire jazz and Lindy Hop scene. Options also include a 3, 4 or 5 piece band. All jazz styles including swing, jive, funk & Latin.
