These past few weeks at GFS we have been mixing up and making some treats... some for us to eat, and some for the bees to enjoy in our gardens!

First we made wildflower seed balls using compost, flour and seeds 🌷🌻🌸

Last week we gave into our sweet tooth and made our own mini eggs tiramisu style pudding- following a recipe, measuring ingredients and holding our patience to not eat it along the way! 🍨🍫

Hope everyone is enjoying their half term break!

At GFS Dunvant last week we finished things off by taking some time for ourselves thinking on what we can do to make ourselves feel better when things get hard.

We made our own yoghurt honey face masks, did some guided mindfulness breathing, played games and colouring in- all in the comfort of blankets and cushions of course 😊

Last week's session was a mashup of themes with Valentines Day and International Day of Women and Girls in science just a few days apart. 💘🔬

We started off writing love letters to ourselves to open on Valentines day reminding of the importance of self love 💖

Then the girls went on together as a big group engineering their own Rude Goldberg machine with the challenge to ring the bell at the end- very impressed!
