Assistant Treasurer and Trustee
Swansea Foodbank is looking to appoint an Assistant Treasurer and Trustee. You need to live in the City or County of Swansea and be able to spare 6 hours a week. This is a voluntary role that might suit someone who has retired from work and is keen to be involved with a local charity that has 150 volunteers at its six Foodbank centres and which provided food to 12,000 people last year.

Please be aware that Port Tennant Community Centre foodbank is closed this week. It will reopen as normal on 14th October. All our other foodbanks are open as normal. 😊

We want to say a HUGE thank you to Martin and John from 4X4 Response South Wales for coming to our rescue once again. The team helped out volunteers move all food and equipment from Gorseinon Institute to St Catherine's Church, thank you for your continued support, we couldn't have done it without you. Make sure you pop in to have a cup of coffee and a cake. ❤️

The wait is finally over. St Catherine's Church in Gorseinon will reopen this Thursday🥳🥳.
The foodbank will be open between 10-12noon, please spread the word. We look forward to welcoming you all to our newly refurbished home. Can we say a HUGE thank you to the wonderful Kathleen Davies for looking after us at the Institute. You have been so kind and made us feel so welcome during our stay. ❤️😘
