SUNDAY FUNDAY! Great fun at the Big Green Play Date. Children enjoyed Martins Pond, lost a croc to the ponds Crocodile 🤣and having time to explore, climb, play hide n seek tag! One group hid too well, got "lost"and had to be rescued by our sniffer dogs Harry amd Erin🤣😂🤣.
The children also loved the activities organised by Kilvey Woodland Volunteers. Making and cooking bread. Whittling their own beads, making pencils and willow crown plus the " Magic" firemaking.
On way home we stopped to play in playground and on Green opposite where one of the boys taught others to do flips.
Very busy and successful Afternoon.
We re planning another Kilvey hill walk and play for Sat 11th July.

If your child wants to come, Drop off at the community centre at 10:40, children will need a packed Lunch and Snack, please can they wear their club tops.

Sunday 10:40 til 2:30, Play Session on Kilvey Hill. Children coming with club staff will need to wear club tops and a packed lunch.
We can also meet children at Pentrechwyth playground if you live in Pentrechwyth.
Please let staff know or message us if your child is coming.

🍎 Do you want local children to have the chance to learn more about growing their own food? If so, we need your help to make that happen! 🍏

We're working in partnership with The Orchard Project to apply for funding for community gardening activities and to improve Bonymaen Park.

We'd like to plant some more fruit trees, create planters where children can learn about growing food, run events for families, schools and the wider community, and make a wildlife friendly area to encourage more pollinators.
