Let us introduce you to one of the incredible organisations we support, The BloomSpace Foundation and their community-led initiative Club Hubs, which is bringing people together through shared interests, creativity and wellbeing.
The idea for Club Hubs originally came from the YOGITS, a veterans touch rugby group with a strong focus on wellbeing and mental health.
They envisioned a space that supported mental wellbeing, encouraged creative expression, and offered connection beyond the pitch which is when they merged The BloomSpace Foundation to form the group.
What started as a simple concept has now grown into a larger movement-empowering communities in Powys, Neath, Port Talbot, Camarthen and Swansea to co-create spaces where people can come together around the things they care about. Club Hubs has the potential to spread even further, which is part of the beauty of the model.
Whether it’s yoga, painting, coding, gardening, walking, or writing, the possibilities are as broad as the imagination of the people involved.
By connecting individuals through shared interests, they have brought over 2,000 people in the community in the last year alone, encouraging people to engage in positive activities that support both their mental and physical health.
Marnie Griffiths, their Wellbeing Services Coordinator, had this to share:
“Club Hubs is all about bringing people together in a way that feels natural and meaningful- whether that’s through creativity, movement, or simply connecting with others. We’re seeing people build confidence, form friendships, and feel part of something again!”
Gadewch i ni eich cyflwyno i un o’r sefydliadau anhygoel rydym yn eu cefnogi, Bloomspace Foundation a’u menter a arweinir gan y gymuned Club Hubs, sydd yn dod â phobl ynghyd drwy ddiddordebau a rennir, creadigrwydd a lles.
Daeth y syniad am Club Hubs yn wreiddiol o’r YOGITS, grŵp rygbi cyffwrdd cyn-filwyr sydd â ffocws clir ar les ac iechyd meddwl.
Dychmygwyd gofod a fyddai’n cefnogi lles meddyliol, yn annog mynegiant creadigol, ac yn cynnig cysylltiad tu hwnt i’r cae rygbi, a dyna pryd unwyd gyda’r BloomSpace Foundation i greu’r grŵp.
Mae’r hyn a gychwynnodd fel syniad syml bellach wedi tyfu’n symudiad llawer mwy – yn grymuso cymunedau ym Mhowys, Castell-nedd, Port Talbot, Caerfyrddin ac Abertawe i gyd-greu gofodau lle gall pobl ddod at ei gilydd o amgylch eu diddordebau. Mae gan Club Hubs y potensial i ledaenu ymhellach fyth, sy’n elfen wych i’r model.
P’un ai yn ioga, peintio, codio, garddio, cerdded, neu ysgrifennu, mae’r posibiliadau mor eang â dychymyg y bobl sy’n rhan ohono.
Gan gysylltu unigolion drwy ddiddordebau a rennir, maent wedi dod â dros 2,000 o bobl yn y gymuned ynghyd dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf yn unig, gan annog pobl i gymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau cadarnhaol sy’n cefnogi iechyd meddwl a chorfforol.
Roedd gan Marnie Griffiths, eu Cydlynydd Gwasanaethau Lles, hyn i’w ddweud:
“Mae Club Hubs yn ymdrin â dod a phobl at ei gilydd mewn modd sy’n teimlo’n naturiol ac ystyrlon – p’un ai drwy greadigrwydd, symudiad, neu yn syml wrth gysylltu ag eraill. Rydyn ni’n gweld pobl yn magu hyder, yn creu cyfeillgarwch ac yn teimlo’n rhan o rywbeth eto!”
