• Beavers: 5:30–6:30pm
• Cubs: 6:30–8pm
• Scouts: 7–8:30pm (9pm flex)

Tonight the scouts had a brilliant time getting creative while working towards their Master at Arms badge! Instead of just talking about safety rules, we turned it into a hands-on wound-making workshop using a flour and water dough mixture, complete with paint, cotton balls, and cocktail sticks for some convincing "gore".

While they were busy crafting their cuts and scrapes, we used the opportunity to discuss potential injuries from arms accidents, how to avoid them, and the safety rules associated with the activity. It’s safe to say they mastered both the special effects and the safety clause of their badge tonight!

Well Done all, you really turned my stomache with your gory creations! 🤢 😂

Tonight was a massive hit as the Scouts kicked off their Master-at-Arms badge! 🎯⚜️

​While half the group took turns on the air ri**es under the watchful eye of our trained fi****ms officer, the rest of the pack were busy putting their wilderness skills to the test. They foraged for sticks to craft their very own DIY slingshots, then put their aim to the test by trying to knock down stacks of cups using dried peas.

​Huge thanks to all the parents for getting the consent form signed so quickly at drop-off. A brilliant night of focus, fun, and sharp shooting! 🏹🪵 ⚜️

The scouts honorary scout Gwen the dog did an amazing job litter picking last night at the local rugby club and surrounding area.
For their hard work they finished the evening off with a well deserved pizza and played in the park. A massive thank you to Steve and Catherine at My Green Valley for their help and providing the kit.

Tonight all sections Beavers, Cubs and Scouts came together and enjoyed a visit from the local PCSOs who led a talk on personal and internet safety, then they all had a go of trying on uniforms and making their own finger print cards.
They then enjoyed a game together of blindfold hide and seek.
