Beyond Recycling Swansea

12/10/2026

Got something broken? Don’t give up on it just yet.

This Saturday 17th, join us at The Environment Centre for a special Repair Café, taking place as part our month-long Festival of Repair.

Bring along your broken household items, bikes, electricals, textiles and more, and get advice from our volunteer repairers. Whether it's a favourite gadget, a broken necklace or something you've been meaning to fix for months, we'll help explore whether it can be repaired rather than replaced.

We'll also be offering our FREE PAT Testing service, so you can check that your electrical items are safe to use.

📍 The Environment Centre
📅 Saturday 17 October 10:30 - 13:30

The Festival of Repair is running throughout October with Repair Cafés, workshops, demonstrations and hands-on activities across Swansea, all showing that broken doesn't always mean finished.

⚡ Is your electrical equipment safe?

This time, it’s a toaster that was knocking the electrics off in the house! 🔌🍞

⏰ 10am–4pm
📍 Swansea Repair Space, The Environment Centre

Bring along your electrical appliances and our trained volunteers can give them a safety check — completely free.
