We need Volunteers! Visiting Mum is a great project! It’s a partnership between Change Grow Live and the charity Parents And Children Together (PACT), with the aim to reduce the anxieties of children whose mothers are in prison. Most children worry about how their mother is coping while she is serving a prison sentence. With this role, you’ll be working as part of the Visiting Mum team. There is a

North Wales Coordinator and a South Wales Coordinator to make sure that you have support close at hand. You’ll play a huge part in improving the experience of children visiting their mothers in prison, and they will feel less intimidated by the prison environment and better supported with you at their side. The aim is to help transport children significant distances to visit their Mums. We are able to provide less formal, longer visits that facilitate a more intimate and nurturing environment for mothers, children and carers.
