September in Rotary is Basic Education and Literacy month and to celebrate we bring you stories from Literacy in a Box, a project which is helping some of the world’s poorest children access education and we shine a spotlight on literacy projects from across Great Britain and Ireland 💫

❤️ Making a Difference — Together! ❤️

We are incredibly proud of the difference that Swaffham & District Rotary has been able to make over the past three years. Thanks to the amazing support of our community, we have raised and donated over £54,000 to a wide range of wonderful causes.

From local organisations and community projects to national charities and international causes, every pound raised has helped support people and organisations that truly need it. 💛

Our poster highlights just some of the fantastic charities and organisations we have been proud to support — but we know there are many more amazing causes doing vital work within our local community.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along to visit the Swaffham & District Rotary stall at the Classic Car Show today! 🚗☀️

Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets for our upcoming Art Exhibition raffle**, which will be drawn during the exhibition in October, and to everyone who had a go at **Guess the Name of the Monkey**! 🐒

Thanks to your fantastic support, we raised an amazing **£90 for local good causes**!

🏆 And the winner of Guess the Name of the Monkey is… Stephen Ward Congratulations!🎉👏

Thank you once again to everyone who supported us — every ticket, every guess and every conversation helps us continue making a difference in our local community.

With only 2 weeks to go, the band are really looking forward to our concert to celebrate the life of ex-band member Jack. Please see the details on the poster. The music programme will be varied with something to suit all tastes. If you've never experienced it before, the sound of a brass band in a church is awesome. Come along and enjoy the event. It's free and there's plenty of room inside the church.
