The Derbyshire Time Swap service will come to an end on the 31st of October 2026.

A new ‘social connection service’ will be starting on the 1st of November 2026 and will be available across the county.

This service will build on many of the things people have said they value most about existing projects – including meeting people, getting involved in local activities and feeling part of their community - while offering a more flexible approach to supporting communities; increasing social connection & reducing loneliness.

Over the coming months, we will be working closely with our members, to provide information on other projects and services that you may wish to access when the time comes for Derbyshire Time Swap to come to an end. One of those options will be the new ‘social connection service’.

We will ensure that you know what is on in your local area as well as other timebank opportunities that may be available.

We would encourage you all to continue swapping in 2026, we still have an opportunity to really make a difference. The team and your Time Swap Development Officer are here to support you.

We are committed to Derbyshire Time Swap, right until the end of the funding period (October 2026) and will be working hard to make sure that none of our members are left behind.

❤️🎶 The Strangest Most Wuthering Heights Ever 🎶❤️

One of our members is bringing this wonderfully weird event to High Lea Park, New Mills, a mass dance inspired by Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights with a spooky Stranger Things twist! 🦇✨

Be part of this worldwide world record-breaking attempt as thousands of people across the globe dance together on the same day.

Dress in red (or add your best 80s Stranger Things vibe!) and help raise money for our organisation member, Blythe House Hospice.
