❤️ A VERY SPECIAL MILESTONE FOR OUR SOCIALS ❤️
With Cromwell starting this Friday, I just wanted to take a moment to recognise what this social actually means.
This will be our last Veterans in Communities social, bringing to an end an incredible four years of running these socials and raising money for such an important cause.
And this one will take us to just over £10,000 raised for Veterans in Communities. 🎣❤️
When we started these socials four years ago, I don't think any of us could have imagined we'd reach a figure like that.
That £10,000+ has only been possible because of every single person who has booked onto a social, donated, bought raffle tickets, donated prizes, helped out, shared the events or simply supported what we've been trying to do.
So, genuinely…

To everyone who has fished with us over the last four years — thank you.
To all the companies, businesses and individuals who have donated prizes for our raffles — thank you.
And to everyone who has supported the socials in any way — this milestone belongs to all of you. 👏
Although this is the end of the Veterans in Communities socials, it's definitely not the end of the journey.
As most of you will know, Bank Bound is a continuation of what we've built through the Veterans in Communities socials. The community, the friendships, the fishing and, importantly, the desire to use what we're creating to help others will continue.
We've already supported Tackling Minds, a fishing charity doing some fantastic work, and as Bank Bound grows, we want to continue supporting other charities and causes connected to veterans, mental health and the positive impact fishing can have on people's lives.
There will be more to come over the years, and we're only just getting started.
So as we head into Cromwell on Friday, let's make this final VIC social one to remember. 🎣❤️
Four years.
Over £10,000 raised.
Countless friendships and memories - from empty gas bottles, half cooked burgers, busted up bivvies and melted Gazebos to PB's being smashed amongst so many more highs across the years.
It's been one hell of a journey.
